Official Records Contacts

Walla Walla County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bail, or retrieve an official booking record. Direct those requests to the appropriate public office below.

County Jail and Sheriff Records

For a Sheriff or Corrections record, use the county's public-records route or the Sheriff's records contact. The Walla Walla County Jail is the local-custody facility for the Sheriff, Walla Walla Police Department, and College Place Police Department, but the public-records process is the safer first route for a document request.

Choose the Responsible Office

The right contact depends on the type of question and the custody stage. Court files are not handled through the county executive public-records portal.

  • For current local custody or the dated county roster, start with the official County Corrections route described on the home page.
  • For a defined Sheriff or Corrections record, use County NextRequest or the Sheriff records email and identify the person, date range, agency, and record sought.
  • For a Superior Court file, contact the County Clerk at 315 W. Main, (509) 524-2780. For District Court material, use 317 W. Rose, (509) 524-2760.
  • For an issue involving a possible warrant, use the court and Sheriff confirmation route on Most Wanted Fugitives.
  • For a person in state prison, use the Washington Department of Corrections incarcerated-person search and its public-records office.
  • For a federal or immigration custody question, use the separate BOP or ICE locator rather than a county roster.
